Aesthetics at Ashtead Hospital

Here at Ashtead Hospital, our aesthetic nurse, Maggie Gardner performs a range of the latest non-surgical treatments.

We offer a complimentary initial consultation to establish the right treatment plan for you. Maggie is available daily and offers convenient appointments to discuss your individual requirements in detail and provide clear information about your treatment to enable you to make an informed choice.

Maggie offers advice for fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, thread veins, active acne and acne scarring, and pigmentation and rosacea. She provides information and guidance on a wide range of professional cosmetic and skin care products to improve your skin quality.

Treatments performed include

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

This treatment is excellent for treating facial veins, haemangiomas, acne rosacea and pigmentation. The energy used, timing and wavelength are adjusted to suit individual requirements. A course of treatments may be necessary to achieve the desired result.

Face: £220 (30 minute session)
Hands: £100 (15 minute session)
Individual spider naevi: £80 (15 minute session)

Microsclerhotherapy 

This is a treatment is for thread veins using a sclerosant to destroy broken capillaries on the legs. We will examine your legs and possibly use a duplex machine to scan them. It is important that any varicose veins are treated first to achieve a good result. A discrete area is tested and left for 10/14 days to see that it is suitable. Timing is important as the legs will look worse for 6 weeks after treatment. It is advisable to avoid running, rowing and pedalling for a week after treatment.

Pelleve

This treatment uses radio frequency to warm the skin at a deep level to encourage collagen production.

£200 (session approx. an hour)

Please note, we are unable to terat patients with a connective tissue disease or pacemakers.
