Mr Roger Walker is a consultant urological and pelvic surgeon dealing with all aspects of urology including: all types of incontinence; bladder over activity; haematuria -blood in urine; prostate and bladder cancer; bladder pain; persistent and recurring urinary tract infections; urine retention; kidney stones; stress incontinence;testicular lumps;hydroceles; penile skin problems; B.P.H/prostate/PSA; overactive bladder; recurrent cystitis pelvic floor and vaginal prolapse problems.Mr Walker specialises in the following surgical procedures: TVT and Incontinence operations; pelvic floor repair/anterior and posterior repair; TURBT (bladder lesions/cancer);TURP (prostate); circumcision; bladder cancer surgery; cystoscopy;urethral dilatation;urodynamics/video urodynamics;ptns(posterior tibial nerve;stimulation). He specialises in urogenital surgery. His clinical interests are in bladder dysfunction,urodynamics, urinary incontinence, female urology and pelvic floor problems.He also has a clinical interest in urological cancers including bladder, cancer and prostate cancer. Mr Walker sees private patients at the Ashtead Hospital every Monday and at other times by arrangement with his PA, Michele Burton, via email at michele@surreymedicalgroup.co.uk or by calling 01372 275 161 (option 2). He is a recognised consultant by all major private medical insurers.
Initial consultation fee will not exceed £260 and follow-up consultation fee will not exceed £160.
Professional Memberships
Mr Walker is a member of the Royal Society of Medicine (Urology section) and British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS). He is secretary of the executive committee of the Female, Neuro-urology and Urodynamic section of BAUS. Other memberships include the International Continence Society (ICS).
Academic Background
Mr Walker trained in London at the Institute of Urology, University College. In the course of his training he undertook fellowships in America to Duke University and Cedars Sinai, LA. He has been a consultant specialising in this area for 10 years now.He has published widely in the areas of urinary incontinence, urodynamics and bladder function.
