Mr Ijaz Sheikh is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Ashtead Hospital in Surrey
Mr Sheikh's special clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, complex uveitis cases, cataract and eyelid surgery.
Mr Sheikh has performed treatments such as intravitreal injection therapy, laser treatment for diabetic eye diseases and treated other retinal problems.
His recent interests are to develop quality audits, publications, research projects and artificial intelligence-based diabetic retinopathy screening in his native country.
