Academic Background

Research was carried out at King's College London and Guy's & St. Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. This was based in the Nutritional Sciences and Immunobiology departments. The potential causes and novel treatment options in oral Crohn's disease were examined in detail. Alongside this, the role of allergy in inflammatory bowel disease was looked at. Numerous abstracts at National meetings and publications in peer reviewed journals. He has tertiary centre experience in the inpatient and outpatient care of complex inflammatory bowel disease patients and is also experienced in enteral and parenteral nutrition in teaching Hospitals.
