  • The cheerful, friendly and efficient staff at Ashtead Hospital could not have done more for me. They cared to my every need and their happy dispositions kept me going. Special mention must go to the chef who made delicious meals that I'm convinced helped me to my speedy recovery! Thank you to you all. (Joan)

  • A great little hospital with superb nursing care - a testament to the way Ramsay recruits and trains. The absence of frilly interiors was positively reassuring that this hospital was all about quality of care, patient safety and treatment outcomes which is what I valued above all else. All credit to Martin Bircher for choosing to practice at The Ashtead. Coming from A&E as a RTA victim, nothing could have been more welcoming that seeing him and being there! (Nancy)

  • What a wonderful service. From first appointment where the nurse did some checks and prepared me for what the procedure would be like and what I had to do to prepare for it through to the actual procedure itself (a week later) where the receptionist was friendly and welcoming, the team were fantastic and the consultant was open friendly and took the time to explain what was happening. Despite feeling apprehensive about the procedure, they made me feel at ease and kept me informed constantly. Highly recommend the team and hospital. Thank you for taking care of me so well.   •  I have had four operations here at Ashstead Hospital, and I have to say, the service here is Second to none. Wether private or NHS, it makes no difference to quality , & efficiency from reception to operating staff . The service is excellent . (Pete Tyler)
