"I was
involved in a very serious road traffic accident and I have been
admitted in several hospitals to do my surgeries and
rehabilitation. Ashtead hospital really stands out amongst all
those hospitals as my favorite one. The teams of nurses,
physiotherapists, doctors, porters and catering staff made my stay
a very comfortable one indeed. It felt like being at home but with
professional and efficient medical treatment. I am particularly
grateful to the nurses who were always available and concerned
about my pain. It would be too long to name them all at the 2nd
Floor they know who they are (Dear Sister Helen please say hello to
them all..) and I am forever indebted to them for their patience,
sense of humour and kindness. I was also very lucky to have found
at Ashtead an outstanding physiotherapists department; for me they
went far beyond the call of duty to make me walk again this is also
something I will never forget (Thank you Fiona, Sue and team!).
Finally I know that all this was masterminded brilliantly by Mr
Bates, his staff and top surgeons who must certainly be counted
amongst the best in with a world class reputation (believe me
looking at my X Rays) such as Mr Bircher. At Ashtead everybody
cares…"
